NITRAM ACADEMY

NITRAM ACADEMY
A HOME-BASED SCHOOL

Family and friends have asked us: "so what is your homeschool

curriculum? What subjects do you teach?"

We use a color-based grouping technique, where our scholars

(students) are placed into one of two scholar groups: they are

either a Green Scholar or a Blue Scholar. Green Scholar

describes middle school level work, and Blue Scholar describes high

school level work.

We focus our curriculum and instruction in eight subject areas:

-- Athletic and Health Education

-- History and Geography

-- Humanities and World Literature

-- Information Technology

-- Mathematics

-- Science

-- Vocabulary and Writing

-- World Languages and Cultures

Then, we tailor our curriculum and instruction to match the

color-based group that our scholars are placed in.
